History

A commercial company Gidromashservice was founded in 1993.
Their main operations were pumps and systems supply from CIS countries (Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, and Kyrgyzstan) to Russia.

By 1995 Gidromashservice had expanded and entered CIS markets and soon become one of the leaders specializing in the integrated pumping equipment deliveries for oil & gas, power, water supply and utilities.

From 2003 the Company has been acting as one of major integrator of manufacturing, R & D and EPC assets in the pumps and oil & gas engineering.

In the 2003-2010 period Gidromashservice acquired many large pumps and oilfield modular equipment manufacturers, R & D centers as well as servicing and EPC companies:

2003 - Livgidromash (since 26.08.10 HMS Pumps) joined the Group
2004 – Acquisition of Neftemash (since 26.08.10 HMS Neftemash) and Bavlensky Plant «Elektrodvigatel»
2005 - Nasosenergomash (Sumy, Ukraine) became part of the Company
2006 - Nizhnevartovskremservice and Livnynasos were acquired
2007 – Takeover of VNIIAEN (Sumy, Ukraine), Tomskgazstroy, Sibkomplektmontazhnaladka, Dimitrovgradkhimmash
2008 - Promburvod (Minsk, Belarus), NPO Gidromash (Sumy, Ukraine) joined the Group
2009- Sibnefteavtomatika and Rostovsky Vodokanalproekt (RVKP) were acquired
2010- Giprotyumenneftegaz (Muravlenko Tyumen Oil and Gas Design, Research and Development Institute, GTNG), Hydromash was consolidated with Nasosenergomash became part of the Group

In 2005 the Investment Industrial Group Hydraulic Machines and Systems was established and the Hydraulic Machines and Systems Management Company was founded for assets management.

In September 2008 Investment Industrial Group Hydraulic machines and Systems was transformed into HMS Group.

In September 2010 the Hydraulic Machines and Systems Management Company was renamed as HMS Group Management Company.  
In February 2011 HMS Group issued 37% of GDR in IPO on London Stock exchange (LSE). HMS Group receipts ticker – HMSG.

In July 2011 HMS Group acquired 98.59% of Sibneftemash- the oilfield equipment manufacturer.
