HMS GROUP AT A GLANCE

The Group is one of major pump producers for oil and gas complex, power generation, housing and public utilities, water and environment in Russia and CIS countries. It is one of the leading manufacturers of skid mounted container packaged oilfield equipment and, besides, a dynamically developing engineering company which carries out a wide list of design, installation and construction, commissioning works on complex development of oil and gas production and water facilities.

Company’s history and developments

1993

The Company was established as trading company Gidromashservice. Its main activity comprised supplies of pumping and joint equipment to Russia from CIS countries (Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan) where traditional suppliers of specific types of pumps for the Russian market were located.

1995

The Company had extended its range of activity to the market of pumping equipment in Russia and CIS countries where Gidromashservice became one of the leading enterprises specializing in complete deliveries of pumping equipment for oil and gas complex, power and water industry and housing utilities

2003

The Company has acted as one of major integrator of business, project and service assets in the sphere of pumping and oil and gas engineering industry
In the period of 2003-2010 the Company incorporated on an affiliate basis many large specialized manufacturers of pumping and block-modular oilfield equipment as well as a number of service and construction & engineering companies.

Livgidromash was acquired (since 26 Aug, 2010 renamed as HMS Pumps)

2004

Neftemash (since 26 Aug, 2010 renamed as HMS Neftemash) and Bavlensky Plant «Elektrodvigatel» were acquired

2005

Nasosenergomash (Sumy, Ukraine) was acquired

Based on the acquired assets Investment Industrial Group «Hydraulic machines and systems» was established. Managing Company «Hydraulic machines and systems» was set up for asset management, and it acted as a sole executive body in respect to all the Russian affiliate companies of the Group.

2006

Nizhnevartovskremservice and Livnynasos were acquired

2007

VNIIAEN (Sumy, Ukraine), Tomskgazstroy, Sibkomplektmontazhnaladka and Dimitrovgradkhimmash were acquired

2008

Plant Promburvod (Minsk, Belarus) and NPO Gidromash (Sumy, Ukraine) were acquired

Investment Industrial Group «Hydraulic machines and systems» was transformed into HMS Group in September 2008

2009

Sibnefteavtomatika and Rostovsky Vodokanalproekt (RVKP) were acquired

2010

Giprotyumenneftegaz JSC (GTNG) was acquired, and Hydromash was consolidated with Nasosenergomash

OJSC “Hydraulic machines and systems Management Company” was renamed as OJSC “HMS Group Management Company” in September 2010

2011

HMS Group placed 37% of its global depositary receipts in the conduct of IPO on London Stock exchange in February 2011 under the HMSG ticker

HMS Group acquired 98.59% of Sibneftemash, an oilfield equipment manufacturer, in July 2011
